Blind Assessment
Complex, richly aromatic. Dark chocolate, black cherry, almond butter, lavender, raw honey in aroma and cup. Bright, malic (apple-like) acidity; very smooth, satiny mouthfeel. Resonant, chocolaty finish with undertones of black cherry and lavender.
Notes
Produced by Francisco De Sola of Finca Plan del Hoya, from trees of the SL28, Anacafe 14, Pacamara, Pacas and Gesha varieties of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Bottom Line
A rich-toned, multi-layered El Salvador comprised of unusual varieties of Arabica for the region — juicy, high-toned, chocolaty and harmonious.
