Blind Assessment
Bright, juicy, crisply sweet. Toffee, orange zest, oak, magnolia, vanilla in aroma and cup. Sweet-tart structure with vibrant acidity; crisp, satiny mouthfeel. The finish leads with citrus and magnolia notes in the short, rounding to vanilla-toned toffee in the long.
Notes
Produced by Roberto and Rodrigo Dumont of Malacara B Farm entirely of the Orange Bourbon variety of Arabica and processed by the washed method. An integral part of New York’s coffee renaissance, Brooklyn-based Café Grumpy opened its first café in 2005 and has since expanded to 10 locations in New York, including a roasting facility, and one in Miami.
