Blind Assessment
Aromatic, full-bodied, balanced. Pink grapefruit, cocoa nib, lilac, rambutan, bay leaf in aroma cup. Sweetly brisk acidity; richly syrupy mouthfeel. Exceptionally long, vibrant, flavor-laden finish.
Notes
Southern Ethiopia coffees like this one are largely produced from distinctive indigenous Ethiopian landrace varieties of Arabica long grown in the region. Processed by the honey method, in which some of the fruit flesh is left on the bean during the drying process. Euphora Coffee is a Taipei-based specialty coffee roaster with an active online community through which all sales are made. Visit www.euphoracoffeestudio.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A boldly aromatic yet balanced honey-processed Guji with notes of cocoa, bright citrus, and sweet herbs throughout.
