Southern Ethiopia coffees like this one are largely produced from distinctive indigenous Ethiopian varieties of Arabica long grown in the region. Processed by the washed or wet method, meaning the soft fruit residue was removed from the beans before drying. This coffee is certified Fair Trade, meaning it was purchased at a formula-determined “fair” or economically sustainable price.
