Blind Assessment
Vibrant, citrusy. Tangerine zest, cocoa nib, pear, marjoram, freesia-like flowers in aroma and cup. Lively structure with high-toned acidity; crisp, satiny mouthfeel. The finish consolidates to notes of tangerine zest and cocoa nib.
Notes
Yirgacheffe is a coffee region in southern Ethiopia that produces distinctive coffees largely from selections of indigenous landrace varieties of Arabica long grown in the region. This example is processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and flesh are removed before drying). Manchill Roasteria is a Taiwan-based especially coffee roaster and e-commerce store with an eye toward value. Visit www.manchill.com.tw for more information.
Bottom Line
A vibrantly aromatic washed Yirgacheffe framed by citrus and cocoa nib with sweet herb undertones.
