Blind Assessment
Crisply sweet, delicate, intricately composed. Mango, sandalwood, brown sugar, jasmine, cocoa in aroma and cup. Bright, vibrant acidity; levitating, silky mouthfeel. The richly drying, crisp finish centers on brown sugar and sandalwood notes in the short and fruit-toned cocoa in the long.
Notes
This coffee is processed at the famous Idido cooperative. Yirgacheffe is a coffee region in southern Ethiopia that produces distinctively floral- and fruit-toned coffees from traditional varieties of Arabica long grown in the region. It is a wet-processed or “washed” coffee, meaning the fruit skin and pulp were removed from the beans immediately after harvesting and before drying. GK coffee is a café, roastery and B&B in YiLan, Taiwan. GK provides quality specialty coffee to consumers and retailers. For more information, email [email protected] or call +886-919-314-513.
Bottom Line
An elegant, cleanly-stated Yirgacheffe: crisp, sweet, delicately complex.
