Blind Assessment
Delicate, lively, sweetly tart. Roasted cacao nib, orange marmalade, pear, narcissus-like flowers in aroma and cup. Delicately bright acidity; light, silky mouthfeel. The tart character softens and smoothes in a gently flavor-saturated finish.
Notes
Yirgacheffe is a coffee region in southern Ethiopia that produces distinctive coffees from traditional varieties of Arabica long grown in the region. Yirgacheffe coffees like this one processed by the wet or washed method (fruit skin and pulp are removed before drying) typically express great aromatic complexity and intensity with a particular emphasis on floral notes. Like virtually all Ethiopia coffees, this coffee is produced by villagers on small, garden plots interplanted with food and other subsistence crops. HiLine Coffee specializes in delivering both convenience and quality, including providing roasted-to-order single-serve products for Keurig, Nespresso, French Press, AeroPress and other popular coffee brewers. Who Should Drink It
The floral, cocoa and crisply sweet citrus character of a classic Yirgacheffe at a very good price.
