Blind Assessment
The aroma is slight but lively; the acidity is bright, classic and lightly assertive, remaining safely if precariously on the right side of sour. The bottom notes provide just enough ballast for the relatively buoyant acidity.
Notes
A light, bright, mid-American profile with a relatively buoyant acidity. A blend, pre-ground and canned. Slightly finer grind than the supermarket norm. Thirteen-ounce can $3.79, or $4.67 per pound.
Who Should Drink It
People with tight budgets and a preference for light, bright mid-American profiles. People who like to see the bottom of the cup and drink coffee all the way through their meal.
