Blind Assessment
Balanced, crisply sweet. Lemon verbena, almond, dark caramel, freesia, cedar in aroma and cup. Sweet-toned acidity; full, very satiny mouthfeel. Notes of freesia and almond lead in the sweet finish.
Notes
Produced at Finca Alto Refugio, from trees of the Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra and Typica varieties of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Utopian Coffee is a specialty roaster based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Visit www.utopiancoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
An invitingly sweet, floral-toned washed Guatemala complicated by a citrusy herbaceousness.
