Blind Assessment
Superbly complex aroma; elegantly fruity: ripe apricot, cherry, cedar, fresh leather. Slightly imbalanced in the cup by an intense acidity only partly buffered by sweetness, but recovers itself in a long, rich finish. Anonymously nominated.
Notes
Produced in the spectacular mountain basin surrounding Guatemala's Lake Atitlan. Caribou Coffee is a retail roasting chain based in the upper Middle West whose rather irreverent motto "Life is short. Stay awake for it" belies a serious approach to coffee. Visit
Who Should Drink It
