Blind Assessment
Crisp, low-toned, chocolaty. Baking chocolate, orange, toasted coconut, wisteria, macadamia nut in aroma and cup. Bittersweet in structure, plush in mouthfeel. Chocolate takes over in the finish, nicely complicated by orange and flowers.
Notes
Produced on one or more of the Finca Bella Carmona farms in the celebrated Antigua growing region of Guatemala by Luis Pedro Zelaya from trees of the Bourbon and Caturra cultivars. Handlebar Coffee was founded in Santa Barbara, California, in 2011 by two former professional cyclists, and the couple now operates two thriving coffee shops. Bottom Line
An impressive example of the Guatemala of tradition: balanced, round, chocolate-toned.
