Blind Assessment
Delicately sweet, floral-toned. Honeysuckle, lemon verbena, pink peppercorn, baking chocolate, hazelnut in aroma and cup. Sweet structure with vibrant, balanced acidity; satiny mouthfeel. Floral-toned finish with hints of baking chocolate.
Notes
Produced by Gonzalo Hernandez and Jose Padilla at Coffea Diversa farm entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica and processed by the honey method, in which some fruit flesh is left on the beans during the drying process. Paradise Roasters specializes in micro-lot Arabica and Robusta coffees from Asia and other emerging origins. The company prides itself on quality and freshness, craft-roasting coffees in small batches only after orders are placed. Visit www.paradiseroasters.com or call 763-433-0626 for more information.
Bottom Line
An elegant, understated Guatemala Geisha processed by the honey method — deeply sweet and richly aromatic.
