Blind Assessment
Zesty, pungent, deep. Cedar, hazelnut, zesty lemon, honey, dark chocolate in aroma and cup. Slight savory hint in the cup. Gently tart, smoothly integrated acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Clean, rather simple finish.
Notes
Pandora is an auction lot grown produced by El Injerto, one of Guatemala’s most celebrated farms. This lot is comprised entirely of the admired Pacamara variety, a cross between the giant-beaned Maragogipe variety and Pacas, a selection of the heirloom Bourbon. Paradise Roasters prides itself on roasting and shipping coffee only after orders are placed. Its metaphoric mission is to bring some paradisiacal warmth from the coffee-growing south to the cool environs of Minnesota and beyond. Visit www.paradiseroasters.com or call 763-433-0626 for more information.
Who Should Drink It
Aficionados interested in enjoying the deep, low-toned, savory fruit tendencies of the Pacamara variety.
