Blind Assessment
Crisply sweet, nut-toned. Fig Newton, almond butter, marjoram, cedar, magnolia in aroma and cup. Very sweet structure with brisk acidity; plush, syrupy mouthfeel. Crisply sweet, nut-driven finish.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, entirely of the Bourbon variety of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and flesh are removed from the beans before they are dried). Hunapu is Luis Pedro Zelaya’s project to create high-quality microlot coffees from smallholder producers within the Antigua region of Guatemala.
