Blind Assessment
Deep, round, balanced. Fresh-cut fir, pecan, plum, hints of chocolate and flowers in aroma and cup. Crisp, quiet, roast-rounded acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. The chocolate note comes forward in a simple but sweetly resonant finish.
Notes
Produced from trees of the Caturra variety of Arabica by the Ricardo Zelaya family on its Santa Clara Estate in the famous Antigua Valley. Roasted toward the dark end of medium. Fresh Cup is a sustainability focused micro-roaster that only sells certified organic coffees, and roasts using a proprietary electrically heated closed-loop air roaster. Visit www.freshcup.ca or call 250-652-5678 for more information.
Who Should Drink It
Those who enjoy balance, depth, and gently rounded acidity in a quietly complex cup.
