Blind Assessment
Complex, richly aromatic, spice-toned. Candied violet, clove, dried red plum, cocoa nib, frankincense in aroma and cup. Balanced, malic (apple-like) acidity; vibrant, very silky-smooth mouthfeel. Layered, long-lasting finish.
Notes
Produced by Jenner Villatoro of Finca Villaure, entirely of the Bourbon variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying) and co-fermented with organic orange juice and orange peel. Roasted at PT’s Coffee, where the motto is “Without the love, it’s just coffee.” Visit www.ptscoffee.com or call 888-678-JAVA for more information.
Bottom Line
Appealingly complex, inviting, richly sweet-savory washed Guatemala co-ferment: juicy, grounded, deep and rich.
