Blind Assessment

Gentle, sweetly tart, delicately complex. Honey, sweet citrus, nut butter, night-blooming flowers in aroma and cup. Soft acidity; leanish but quite silky mouthfeel. Pleasingly rich though rather short finish.

Notes

This Kona coffee was sourced through the original founder of Paradise Coffee, R. Miguel Meza. Miguel has recently established Isla Coffee, a producer and distributor of specialty green coffee primarily from Hawaii and Taiwan. This lot is from the 2012 harvest. Paradise Roasters specializes in micro-lot coffees and espressos from Hawaii and other premier coffee growing regions. The company prides itself on quality and freshness, craft-roasting coffees in small batches only after orders are placed. Visit www.paradiseroasters.com or call 763-433-0626 for more information.

Who Should Drink It

Nicely expresses the characteristic soft acidity, sweetness and delicate complexity of the finest Kona coffees.
