Blind Assessment
Bright but balanced. Tart coffee fruit reads as a crisp-toned but lavish layering of cherry, orange and lemon suggestions with an anchoring hint of fresh-cut fir. Intense but sweet-toned acidity; lightly silky mouthfeel. Sweet, rich short finish; a very slight hint of astringency in the long.
Notes
Despite grower discontent and sporadic social disorder, Kenya continues to produce some of the world's most elegant and distinctive coffees. Java Blend Coffee Roasters is a small batch roasting company owned and operated by the same family since 1938. It custom-roasts and delivers coffee within two days of ordering throughout most of the Maritime Provinces of Canada. Visit
Who Should Drink It
A big, bright, sweetly acidy style Kenya for lovers of classic medium-roasted breakfast cups.
