Blind Assessment
Rich-toned, deeply sweet-savory. Red currant, mustard flower, cocoa nib, butterscotch, almond butter in aroma and cup. Balanced, richly sweet-savory structure with juicy, bright acidity; plush, syrupy mouthfeel. Finish consolidates to cocoa-toned red currant with butterscotch undertones.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers in the Nyeri growing region, and processed by the particularly meticulous Kenya variation on the traditional wet or washed method, in which skin and fruit flesh are removed from the beans or seeds before they are dried. Cozy House Coffee is a Taiwan-based specialty coffee roaster and an SCA Authorized Trainer (AST). For more information, visit https://shop.cozyhousecoffee.com.
Bottom Line
An especially vibrant, juicy version of the classic Kenya cup: deep-toned, complex, very sweet and richly savory.
