Blind Assessment
Balanced, richly sweet, complex. Chocolate fudge, narcissus, date, cedar, lemon balm in aroma and cup. Sparkling acidity; very full, syrupy mouthfeel. The resonant finish centers around notes of chocolate fudge and narcissus with undertones of date.
Notes
Produced at Aloha Hills Farm and processed by the washed method, in which the fruit skin and pulp are removed before the beans are dried. Maragogype is a lesser-known variety of Arabica that produces enormous beans. Visit www.rustyshawaiian.com or call 808-928-8916 for more information.
Bottom Line
A lovely, rich-toned, chocolaty and floral Kona Maragogype complicated by sweet herb notes.
