Blind Assessment
Pleasing caramelly sweetness is balanced by hints of pungent cedar and complemented by orange and floral notes. Delicate but rich acidity; lively, silky mouthfeel. Flavor carries into a long, elegantly clean finish.
Notes
Hula Daddy is a boutique coffee producer with farms at the 1,400 and 2,500 foot levels of the Mount Hualalai volcano near the northern end of the Kona growing district, five minutes above the town of Kailua-Kona. This coffee is a blend of beans from both farms. Fancy is the second-highest grade of Kona coffee mainly based on bean size, but the exceptional character of this coffee is probably more owing to fastidious harvesting, fruit removal and drying than to size of the bean. This coffee was selected, processed and roasted under the supervision of Laura Ross, Hula Daddy’s roastmaster. Visit www.huladaddy.com or call 888-553-2339 for more information.
Who Should Drink It
