Blind Assessment
Evaluated in brew bag format with a steeping time of 4 minutes in 9 ounces of water. Balanced, chocolaty. Baking chocolate, date, almond, lemon verbena, oak in aroma and cup. Sweet structure with mellow acidity; crisp, satiny mouthfeel. Flavor-saturated finish focused around notes of baking chocolate and almond.
Notes
A blend of three coffees processed by three different methods: a natural Brazil, a washed Guatemala, and a wet-hulled Indonesia. Packaged in brew bag format in-house by Nostalgia. Nostalgia Coffee Roasters was founded by Taylor Fields in 2018 as a mobile café; it has since added specialty roasting and online sales of select fine coffees. Bottom Line
An in-house-manufactured brew bag version of Nostalgia’s popular Memory Lane blend of coffees from Brazil, Guatemala and Indonesia
