Blind Assessment
Delicate, sweetly tart. Mango, elm, honeysuckle, buttery macadamia nut in aroma and cup. Brisk, sweet acidity; billowy-light, satiny mouthfeel. The crisp finish opens with suggestions of mango and macadamia, then tails off into gently drying, aromatic elm.
Notes
Produced at Los Naranjos de San Augustín farm from trees of the Caturra and Colombia varieties of Arabica. This is a wet-processed or “washed” coffee, meaning the fruit skin and pulp were removed from the beans immediately after harvesting and before drying. Established in 2010, Red Rooster is an organic-certified micro-roaster focusing on socially conscious coffee and high-quality coffee. Bottom Line
An inviting coffee, with fruit notes reminiscent of a mango lassi, both sweet and tart, with rounding influences of macadamia nut and gentle floral tones.
