Blind Assessment
A ready-to-drink black coffee, tested cold. Crisply cocoa-toned, sweetly nutty. Cocoa powder, walnut, Valencia orange, bay leaf, caramel. Juicy, malic (apple-like) acidity; velvety mouthfeel. Richly bittersweet, walnutty and cocoa-toned finish. With milk, cocoa notes are amplified and walnut tones sweeten.
Notes
Produced by Snapchill in a proprietary process that involves brewing the coffee hot, then immediately chilling it to 38 degrees to prevent oxidation. Contains no additives or ingredients other than coffee and water. Founded by George Howell in Boston in 2004, George Howell Coffee now operates three cafes and a roastery. Bottom Line
A balanced, inviting single-origin El Salvador in cold-brew format: cocoa-toned, crisply nutty, with especially bright, juicy acidity that stands up to milk.
