Blind Assessment
Crisp, quietly complete, balanced. Hazelnut, fresh-cut fir, cranberry, a hint of oregano in aroma and cup. Rich, round acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Flavor consolidates in a simple, rich finish.
Notes
This coffee is certified organically grown. Allegro Coffee Roasters is a long-established specialty roaster now a subsidiary of Whole Foods Market. This coffee was roasted at the newish in-store boutique Allegro roastery-café located in Berkeley, California, the second such Allegro in-store roastery to open, following the first in Brooklyn, New York. Who Should Drink It
Lovers of the classic Latin-America cup: nothing flashy, nothing out of balance here, just a roundly and quietly complete cup.
