Blind Assessment
Sweet, balanced, floral-toned. Jasmine, peach, pistachio, cardamom, cocoa nib in aroma and cup. Deeply sweet structure with savory undertones; plush, satiny mouthfeel. The richly drying finish is led by notes of jasmine in the short, pistachio and cocoa nib in the long.
Notes
Certified organic. Produced entirely from trees of the admired Bourbon variety of Arabica. A washed-process coffee (fruit is removed before drying). Hala Tree Coffee is a family-owned organic Kona coffee farm in the heart of the Kona coffee belt, overlooking historic Kealakekua Bay. The 100% Kona Coffee produced on this USDA organic-certified property is processed and roasted on site to ensure quality. For more information, visit www.halatreecoffee.com.
Bottom Line
A nuanced, layered Kona cup characterized by stone fruit and sweet floral tones with a savory, cardamom-like depth.
