Dark chocolate and sweet, pungent grapefruit in aroma and cup, with a backgrounded gently scorched cedar. Rich, roast-rounded acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Some flavor persists in a sweet but drying finish.

Fine moderately dark-roasted Rwanda, with the pungent, grapefruit notes and rich chocolate that coffees from the largely Bourbon variety plantings of Rwanda take on when deftly brought to a medium-dark roast like this one.
