Blind Assessment
Bright, sweetly tart. Pomegranate, lemon verbena, cocoa nib, freesia, cedar in aroma and cup. Briskly sweet-tart acidity; plush, creamy mouthfeel. Gently drying cocoa-toned finish supported by notes of lemon verbena and cedar.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers of the Santafé community, from trees of the Caturra, Castillo and Colombia varieties of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Certified USDA Organic and Kosher. Counter Culture was founded as a roastery in North Carolina in 1995 and has since expanded to 13 training centers across the U.S. Visit www.counterculturecoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A friendly, straightforward Colombia cup with leading notes of tart fruit and cocoa nib — pleasingly, gently bright.
