Blind Assessment
Evaluated in brew bag format with a steeping time of 5 minutes in 8 ounces of water. Crisply sweet, nut-toned. Cocoa powder, pomegranate, almond, orange zest, magnolia in aroma and cup. Sweet-toned with brisk acidity; plush, creamy mouthfeel. Cocoa-toned finish supported by notes of orange zest and almond.
Notes
Produced by Juana Delgado and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Packaged in brew bag format by Steeped Coffee. Rick and Randy Evans founded Evans Brothers Coffee in 2009 focused on sourcing and roasting the finest small lots of seasonally available coffees in a context of sustainability and responsibility. Bottom Line
A sweetly nut-toned single-origin Guatemala brew bag, crisply chocolaty with tart fruit and bittersweet citrus complications.
