Blind Assessment
Notes of nut, milk chocolate and aromatic wood dominate the aroma. In the cup the aromatics intensify, highlighted by rich, albeit slightly musty tones of dark chocolate, toasted almond and suggestions of citrus fruit and baking spices. Flavors linger softly in a dry finish.
Notes
Processed by the traditional Sumatra “wet-hulled” method, a process of fruit removal and drying that can result in coffees with richly fruity and earthy tendencies. Calgary-based Fratello is a second-generation boutique coffee roaster owned by three brothers who focus on responsible trade relationships with coffee growers. Visit
Who Should Drink It
