Blind Assessment
Sweetly roast-toned, savory, deep. Brown sugar, lemon zest, lightly scorched fir, mace, faint gardenia in aroma and cup. Low perceptible acidity; lightly creamy mouthfeel. Lemon zest, lightly scorched aromatic wood, a hint of mace complicate the gently drying finish.
Notes
Produced entirely from the Bourbon variety of Arabica by 2015 Cup of Excellence winner Dukundekawa Musasa Cooperative. This coffee is Fair Trade certified, meaning it was purchased from small-holding farmers at a “fair” or economically sustainable price. Bottom Line
A slightly darkish roast quiets acidity and deepens a zesty, sweet-savory Rwanda.
