Blind Assessment
Sweetly pungent, rich-toned. Blackberry shrub, tangerine, cocoa nib, narcissus, amber in aroma and cup. Crisp, even-keeled acidity; smooth, silky mouthfeel. Long, lingering, harmonious and resonant finish.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, entirely of landrace selections of Arabica long grown in the region, and processed by the anaerobic washed method, in which, after skin and pulp removal, fermentation takes place in a hermetically sealed vessel before the beans are washed and dried. Buon Caffe is a specialty coffee roaster and cafe in Taipei, Taiwan. Visit www.buoncaffe.com.tw for more information.
Bottom Line
A deep-toned anaerobic washed Ethiopia driven by berry notes supported by crisp cocoa nib — lushly sweet, gently tart.
